Our Story

Nature’s functions is a partnership formed in friendship and blood. The owners, Luke and Edmund Couture, are cousins with an inclination for adventure. We have a drive to share the knowledge we have learned growing up farming, foraging, practicing bushcraft and sustainable living in Maine. We started selling spoons, coasters, and other wooden items in our early teens at the Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine. Our focus is to create a base of information for individuals to gain insight on nature; along with marketing products that have been either hand crafted by us, or tested and approved by our standards.
