Wooden Mushroom Sculpture

~ (ONE OF A KIND) ~ Similar to how mushrooms are foraged, we wander through the woods searching for materials that we suspect to have unique grain formations. We take our hand selected pieces back to our shop to carefully shape each piece to complement the natural grains hidden in the wood, and creating a realistic or abstract mushroom form.

This sculpture has been crafted from spalted yellow birch for the cap, and purple lilac for the stem. This sculpture is on a slab of slate we collected from the Sebasticook River.

The cap is removable for easier storage or packaging.
